Alysha Nett | Backyard Babe

I like wearing outfits that say, "I'm chillin', but if this thing turns into a party I'm totally down." It's been fun playing around with the idea of incorporating costume jewelry into my daily looks. It's not uncommon to cathc me in some torn up jeans, a flannel, and a backwards hat, but by adding the over-the-top jewelry and a pair of pumps, I'm suddenly "stylish" and allowed in to that trendy party I was having anxiety about earlier.

  1. I'm a huge vintage brooch fan, too, and really began to build up my collection a serious way last year. just one year of really collecting costume jewelry brooches to remember a time when I didn't have them to reach for each morning

  2. Pendants were certainly ubiquitous, adorning and accentuating rockabilly clothing fashions. Some common styles included cute cartoon-y pictures
